Recipe to quench your summer thirst
This recipe is an easy blender drink, speedy to whip up, and yummy! The ginger will make you lightly perspire and help you cool down.
1 piece (3 inches or so) fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1 cup lemon juice (about 3-4 lemons)
1/4 -1/3 cup maple syrup
6 cups water
2 lemons cut into slices for garnish
Place the ginger in a food processor or blender. Add lemon juice and process until smooth. Add water and maple syrup and mix well. Strain out ginger pulp. Serve in glasses filled with ice and enjoy!
